The New Placitas Community Library is NOW OPEN!
After years in the planning, tremendous community involvement, land clearing, construction, numerous delays, weeks of moving and organizing, and an amazing effort by all of our volunteers, friends and neighbors, the new Placitas Community Library is now open at its new location at 453 Hwy 165. (505) 867-3355 When the flag is flying we are open!
The Placitas Community Library is a grassroots effort to establish a permanent library in Placitas
and encourages a true community effort by bringing residents together to participate in establishing the library. We believe that our library is an essential building block in developing a sense of community pride and spirit. Our volunteer effort invigorates and moves people in this common goal of community building.
